Tone deTox Review
Tone deTox is a colon cleanser that we recently found because of its free trial offer. Although we’re always interested in getting free stuff, we have to admit that we are skeptical when we have to provide credit card information in order to receive it.
We decided to do a little research before we decided to take the chance with Tone deTox’s free trial.
The Good
Not only does Tone deTox promise to help you flush toxins from your body, but it also promises to stimulate weight loss; even claiming to flatten your stubborn tummy bulge.
It is very common for a colon cleanser to also be a weight loss aid because of the nature of cleanses, but very few of them can pull it off unless they have impressive and clinically proven ingredients.
After a long search, we finally found a list of some of Tone deTox’s main ingredients. Even though we didn’t find anything that backs up their claims for weight loss, we did see some promising cleansing ingredients.
For example, Glucomannan is widely used in cleansers because of its ability to absorb excess water in the stomach and small intestine. This allows for more roughage to better facilitate bowel movements and the general digestion process.
The Bad
Unfortunately, Tone deTox also uses the ingredient Senna which is generally used as a stimulator in over the counter laxatives. Even though senna is widely used, it has been known to cause abdominal pains, bloating and even diarrhea.
Senna is definitely not the most volatile laxative out there, but just the fact that there are other, safer ingredients out there, makes us wonder why Tone deTox included it in their formula.
Another thing that worries us is that Tone deTox doesn’t include any ingredients with weight loss clout.
They do make the claim that protease and amylase both work to stimulate the breaking down of proteins, thus helping you burn fat, but none of these claims have been verified by the scientific community.
Conclusion
Although there doesn’t seem to be anything extremely wrong with Tone deTox, we don’t think that there is anything really right with it either. With all the other colon cleansers on the market, we suggest that you look elsewhere.

Product:
Very diappointed and very upset that I thought I was paying just for shipping to try(: No paper work was enclosed to cancel). Then I was billed $79.00 and automatically billed another $79.99 for another shippment that is on its way. Thank goodness I checked my credit card statement and stopped future shippents. Unfortunately I’m now paying $79.99 for a product that did not work and now when the next order that comes in I have to call to get an authorization number to cancel AGAIN and then send it back at my expense and time. What a RIP OFF!!!
Beware of the Rachel Ray SCAMS!!!(:
