While some products get publicity because of a good advertising slogan, or an especially effective ingredient, Purecol Colon Cleanser has received attention as of late because it is now available at the low price of eight British pounds.

However, even a cheap product should still be able to do what it claims to, otherwise it is still a waste of money.

Does Purecol Colon Cleanser Really Work?

Unfortunately, after looking more closely at Purecol Colon Cleanser we don’t think anyone should pay anything for this product.

While ingredients like dandelion, rhubarb, parsley, aloe and senna might look quite harmless to the untrained eye, some of these are more sinister than they appear.

Senna, for instance, was once used in many over the counter laxatives, but has since been banned by the FDA because it was classified as a stimulant laxative.

Stimulant laxatives work by irritating the walls of the lower intestines and the colon, rather than improving the health of the digestive process.

Although this was once thought to be effective, this method has now been found to cause severe abdominal pains, gas, bloating and constipation.

Another ingredient, aloe, is often just thought of for its ability to bring relief to even the worst sunburns, has another more potent side when ingested.

Aloe has also been banned by the FDA because it causes stomach pains and diarrhea when taken as a laxative.

Conclusion

Unfortunately, we can’t find anything about Purecol Colon Cleanser that would convince us to pay even a very low price for this product.
